The 2011 Annual General Meeting of the Reno Rodeo and Ag. Society will be held at Consul in March at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome - ideas, suggestions and memberships welcome. We are again in need of volunteers... e.g. setting up, general help. Any donations of labour, supplies, tents, tables, seating, cash for expenses, you name it..... we'll be grateful and put it to good use. We will let you know when work bees are planned etc Volunteers are also needed on Rodeo Days ... even for just an hour, a 1/2 a day or whatever you can do. Please let Ann or Jill know what kind of 'job' you would be comfortable with by July 15th if possible.
The dates for the 4th Annual Reno Rodeo are July 30 and July 31, 2011,we hope to see you all there!!!

BUMPER STICKERS
The 2011 Bumper Stickers will be available by March 15th. They can be picked up at the Consul Credit Union, Southwest Co-op and Committee Members. We encourage everyone to use these and feel free to give them to people out of the community.
RODEO CD
If anyone is interested in buying an CD of each rodeo please contact Megan Blakley. The cost is $10.00 plus postage and handling. Call 306-299-4810
RODEO CAPS
They will be available for nominal charge of $20.00 per cap. The caps come in several colors and can be purchased from the Cypress Credit Union, Warlin's Ice Cream and the Consul Hotel.
NEWS FLASH - JULY 5, 2011
The Reno Rodeo Committee, in an effort to make the rodeo arena even better, has decided to rework, remove some of the top ground, add a base and replace the top cover. This will significantly improve the footing for the stock and the contestents.
In order to encourage and support the young people in the saddle bronc and bareback events, an Open "Rookie Roughstock" event will be held again in 2012. It was a resounding success and we look forward to even more entries this year. It is open to any aspiring rider who has not won over $1000 in a 2011 - 2012 sanctioned open rodeo event. The purse is $1000 plus a trophy buckle! The entry fee is $40 cash.
The Bumper Stickers are available at the Credit Union.
We encourage community members to stop by the Cypress Credit Union in Consul and pick up advertising posters to post on your travels - available soon - watch for details.
There will be a Tarp Auction for the kid's wagon races on Saturday - watch the website for details to follow soon.
